Fruity Parametric EQ 2. When to use: Parametric EQ 2 is a good choice whenever precise control over EQ is required (e.g. Mastering and controlling or enhancing specific frequencies at an instrument level). Alternatively, if screen space is tight use Fruity Parametric EQ, or for a graphic EQ, try EQUO. I generally use the Parametric EQ 2 (the one with the active display) for coarse high and low pass filtering on individual mixer channels (eg. getting rid of the lower harmonics from basic 3xOsc patches, cutting out high end noise from samples, etc). The problem I run into is that when I use it to cut out, say, everything from 150Hz down, it never really cuts the frequencies all the way out, I always end up having to roll off using the mixer channel's 3-band EQ, which seems way more active. Is there a way to adjust how much the individual band controls on the Parametric EQ effect the output? I always end up getting the result I want, it just seems silly to have to do it twice.
